Vote Woll this Fall!

I was elected to the Juneau Assembly at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and I'm proud of the work the Assembly and our community did to keep Juneau safe during that time. Since then, I've worked to tackle other big issues that impact our citizens. If re-elected, it will be my mission to propose solutions that help build:

A more affordable Juneau:

Juneau is facing a housing crisis that presents grave danger for the health of our community. In the past three years, I've helped invest significant funding into affordable housing projects and create more flexible building codes. If reelected, I'll continue this work by:

  • Providing financial incentives to property owners and builders to invest in higher density affordable housing.
  • Continuing to open up city land for housing and exploring a second crossing option.
  • Evaluating the impacts of short-term rentals on workforce and year-round housing availability.
  • A long-lasting economy:

Juneau's economy faces immediate threats such as shifting demographics and aging infrastructure; but also presents several ripe opportunities for growth. I believe in decision-making to provide lasting economic sustainability over short-term gains. This includes:

  • Smart management of our tourism industry that brings greater local economic benefits while balancing impacts on residents' quality of life.
  • Supporting Juneau's childcare providers to give families greater options to stay in the workforce.
  • Upgrading critical infrastructure and improving energy efficiency to save money over the long-run.
  • A community united:

Our community is not immune to the divisiveness that faces our country. However, Juneau deserves leaders that are focused on working together to find solutions instead of partisan politics. As an assembly member I've been a bridge builder between groups that don't always see eye-to-eye. If re-elected, I'll find new ways for our city government to:

  • Be more accessible to those that have historically been left out of the conversation.
  • Build stronger partnerships with private business, tribal organizations, local non-profits, and state and federal agencies to get more done.
  • Increase participation by citizens of all ages in shaping our community's future.

  • As part of a union family, I understand the challenges and needs of our first responders and our local workforce
